Diagrammatically the zoo building is thought out to be a raised pavilion, dividing the site in two parts one for ground animals and the other for the avians towards the forest and urban side of the site respectively. The raised zoo gallery building opens the covered plaza between these two greens on either side keeping the spaces for animals naturally ventilated. The partial circumambulation around the campus acts as a protection as well as a service corridor, keeping the animals secured from the human and natural habitat.

The approach towards the project was to refrain from touching each part of the site, keeping it natural, this also restricted and kept the movement of the people limited to a certain built space.
